Re: WebSPIRS java
I would like to officially request that the Automation Steering Committee
reconsider the priority of this topic. The ability to seamlessly link from
citations to full text articles (and local holdings information) is an
essential part of our long-term vision of library service ... and has
become an expected service by users familiar with outside library services.
Linking to local holdings using our official Web interface to the online
catalog seems to be the only reasonable way to provide logical and adequate
service.
