    **PLANNED WORK,  10/12/99, between 01:00 - 05:00 EST**

MAINTENANCE
On Tuesday October 12, 1999, between 01:00AM - 05:00AM EDT,
SilverPlatter Internet Service in coordination with
Infrastructure Engineering will be doing maintenance work.  This work is
being  done as part of SilverPlatter's continuous
improvement process.

SilverPlatter databases will not be available beginning at 01:00AM and
will be available again by 05:00AM. Please
note that the databases may be available sooner!

WebSPIRS INTERFACE CHANGE
When the service becomes available again, WebSPIRS v4 users will notice
that the Publication Year (PY) option will not
appear on the search page. Testing has shown that this change allows the
search page to load more quickly. You may still limit
your searches by Publication Year by selecting the 'Set Other Limits'
button on the main search page. **If you would like the
PY option to appear on the search page, please send an e-mail to
support@silverplatter.com. We are able to configure this
setting on a per customer basis. Be sure to include the URL that you use
to access WebSPIRS!**
