New version and list of resources

I just saw the beta version of their WebSPIRS 4.0
at SLA and it has some problems.  I suggest that ALA
attendees take a look.

In particular:
  the new look and feel is too wordy,
  the words don't relate to user terminology 
     (i.e. "field combinations" is used for Combine),
  there is no author index browsing (as in Ovid)
     (only exact searches or requires truncation).

  I would also suggest
that it might be useful to at least note any SP databases which are
offerred as standalone CD's.  While these resources are not accessible for
cross-file searching, their inclusion would give a more complete picture of
our use of SP resources.
